Fruity Tea

Today, as the air was a little cooler, I remembered I had wanted to share my favorite tea with you. My favorite fruity tea, that is. 🙂

A complicated category, but worth it, I think everybody could use a go-to fruity tea. There is the spice – Chai, or Cinnamon, the herbs- Lemon Ginger and Peppermint, and then the fruity – Blackberry Vanilla, Raspberry Zinger. (There is also the ones for when you’re sick, or for special occasion – they are so tasty they are hard not to drink all the time!!! Traditional Medicinal’s Cold Season, Yogi’s Bedtime, Stash’s Licorice Spice and similar teas).

Fruity teas are, I think, a little tricky. Usually strong in flavor, they aren’t always the best choice for the time.

Then again, sometimes it is the perfect fit.

Finding a tea with a good fruit flavor, herbal, that isn’t bitter or overly sweet, not too overpoweringly flavored, is difficult for me. I avoid caffeine (I can’t handle the caffeine! (imagine A Few Good Men) and was also trying to avoid chamomile for a little while to see if it helped me at all.

I found this tea! I use it as my fruity tea.

Ingredients

apple, hibiscus, blackberry leaves, natural pomegranate and other natural flavors (soy lecithin), orange peel, malic acid, licorice root, natural pomegranate and apple juices from concentrate

Free of chamomile, and completely herbal, complete with licorice root! Yay!

I gave it a try, and been buying it ever since. It is sweet, and has a great flavor that isn’t too lingering.

These are some of my other favorite teas (ones that are chamomile free). I mentioned some earlier:

P.S. While researching to make sure the list was accurate (so many teas I’ve tried), I found so many other awesome-looking teas I had never heard of or seen from these brands. Check these out! (may or may not contain chamomile – but all don’t contain caffeine!)

Spotted this while fetching the other pic. Would love to try!

Q&A:

Have you tried any of the above teas? What did you think?

What is the strangest sounding tea that you have tried?

For me it was a “Peppermint Chocolate” tea!

What is your favorite fruit tea, and why?

  1. I love the licorice tea so much!!! I need to find that christmas in paris tea, I’m intrigued! I have one cup of coffee in the morning and then it’s herbal tea for the rest of the day -otherwise I don’t sleep! I’m always looking for new flavours. Awesome post, I’ll look into some of these! 🙂

  2. Moroccan Mint and Chocolate Orange are teas I definitely want to try! Red Zinger is one of my all- time favorites. I have recently tried the Jammin’ Lemon Ginger but it is a bit too spicy for my taste. My newest favorite fruit tea is Tazo Apricot and Vanilla White tea. It is a yummy substitute for dessert.
