I face a challenge every day. The challenge as a reader and the same opposite challenges as a blogger. I thought it might be entertaining and informative to share 🙂 It is amazing how viewpoints can change when you do something…. you might think, “I’d never do that, or be like that” but when you’re in that position, you realize that it actually is only natural to do that, or be that way. Grr. It’s kind of frustrating, sometimes 🙂
Reader reads a post and thinks: I want to comment, but I bet they have plenty of people they want to hear from other than me. Why would they want my comment? And I am sure I am going to say something wrong.
Blogger writes post: Why is nobody commenting? Did I not write it well enough? Oh no, I am sure that I offended someone, or I said something weirdly!
Reader deliberating on whether to publish the comment: Okay, I am actually going to post this comment, but I am pretty sure it’s going to be bad. Okay. I did it. Why is nobody replying to it? I must have hurt them!!! They didn’t want to hear from me in the first place.
Yay!!! Yay! I got a comment!!! Huh. What do I write back? Oh no. I’m sure this isn’t what they are expecting to hear back. Delay. Delay.
Q&A:
Do you have any disparity examples?
Can anybody relate to this?
Take care!
