Chuckling at this:
M(onsieur) Gillenormand talked nonsense in connection with the wedding, and all the fripperies of the eighteenth century passed pell-mell though his dithyrambs. – Les Miserables
Now, I’m not sure the meaning of “fripperies” and “dithyrambs”, but they are not common words, and made me laugh being in the same sentence.
Being quiet at this:
I had work today. Yep, I got a job. It’s temporary, but I gain great experience. I am watching a baby. 🙂 She’s sleeping, shh…
Happy about this:
4th of July is coming up! I love Fourth of July. Resurgence in pride of this country, watermelon signifying messy eats and parents joining in on the fun, and goofy outfits, or classic traditions all being used for the sake of celebrating an anniversary in a flawed but free country. Yay Fourth of July!!!!! 😀
Woke up to this:
I actually slept well last night, so when my alarm told me it was time to get moving, I was not really awake. Sleepy, I pulled myself out of bed and set to doing what I knew needed to be done. My brain was not working. But I knew taking SP out was the first step. I walked him out, and as we rounded the corner, I looked up, and my sleepiness disappeared and my brain got clearer as I looked into the peachy glow of sunrise hidden by treeline and the bird on the wire silhouetted by it. It was beautiful! 🙂 And really helped me wake up. Weird how things like that help.
Have a wonderful rest of your Tuesday!
